A Brazilian Butt Lift (BBL) enhances the shape, projection, and contour of the buttocks using your own fat. Unlike buttock implants, this procedure uses liposuction to remove fat from areas like the abdomen, flanks, or thighs, which is then reinjected into the buttocks for a fuller, more perky silhouette.
At Appleby Plastic Surgery, we prioritize balance, proportion, and safety. Our team carefully plans each BBL surgery to enhance your figure while maintaining a natural, anatomically appropriate look.
BBL surgery has two parts: fat removal and fat grafting. We start by performing liposuction on areas with excess fat, such as the stomach, waist, or thighs. After purifying the harvested fat, we reinject it into specific regions of the buttocks to build volume, and improve shape and contour.
This surgery is typically performed under general anesthesia. Not all fat will survive the transfer, which is why we slightly over-correct during the procedure.
This procedure is often part of post-weight loss body contouring or included in a customized Mommy Makeover plan.
