These treatments use targeted products: neuromodulators, fillers, biostimulators, sclerosing agents, to address one specific concern at a time, without surgery and largely without downtime. Most visits take under an hour. Some results show up within days; others build gradually over weeks.

Not every change at Appleby Plastic Surgery starts in an operating room. A short course of Botox, a Tuesday afternoon spent on filler, a vein that's finally treated after years of covering it up: our injectable menu covers the appointments that fit into a week rather than interrupt a month, done with the same care as our surgical work.

Non-Surigcal & Injectable Treatments

Not every injection at Appleby is about how you look. Vitamin B12 and NAD+ shots are here for energy and recovery, and you can book them on their own or add one onto whatever else you're already coming in for.

They're quick. No real downtime, no real ceremony, just in and out with the shot done.

Wellness Shots

Support your energy, recovery, and overall wellness goals.

A sclerosing agent, injected directly into a spider vein, causes it to collapse and fade. It's a well-established, reliable treatment, most often used on the legs, and it's for spider veins specifically, not varicose ones.

One session rarely does it. Most people need a few, spaced a few weeks apart, with the treated veins fading gradually after each one.

Downtime is minimal. You may be asked to wear compression stockings for a stretch afterward, which is about the extent of it.

Sclerotherapy

Treat visible spider veins with a simple in-office injection.

Radiesse doesn't add volume so much as tell your body to make its own. Injected into the cheeks, jawline, hands, neck, or décolleté, it triggers your own collagen production, so the improvement builds slowly rather than appearing all at once.

Give it about four weeks before you see anything, and up to eight months before the full effect sets in. After that, the results tend to hold for a year to a year and a half, longer than most fillers, with none of the upkeep.

Biostimulators (Radiesse)

Stimulate your own collagen for gradual, longer-lasting improvement.

Fillers restore volume rather than tighten skin, which is why they work well on the areas that hollow out or fold over time: lips, cheeks, the lines beside the nose and mouth, under the eyes, the jawline, the temples. Krista uses Juvederm and Belotero, both made from hyaluronic acid, something your skin already produces, so the material itself isn't foreign to it.

Depending on how much ground you're covering, expect 20 to 45 minutes in the chair. Results are visible the moment you leave, and they hold anywhere from six months to a year and a half.

Combined with a neuromodulator, fillers address both volume loss and expression lines in the same visit.

Dermal Fillers

Restore volume and soften creases for a natural, refreshed look.

Neuromodulators work by relaxing the small muscles that cause expression lines, the ones that show up from frowning, squinting, or years of raised eyebrows. Krista offers both Botox and Xeomin here, treating the forehead, the frown lines between the brows, crow's feet, the lower face, and the jaw and neck contouring known as a Nefertiti lift.

The appointment itself runs 15 to 20 minutes. No downtime, no numbing cream needed for most people, and results show up within a week and hold for three to four months.

It's the treatment most patients start with, and it pairs easily with filler if you want more done in one visit.

how it

works—

Every visit starts with a conversation, not a menu. Krista goes over what you want, your history, and the areas that actually bother you before recommending anything, and what you end up with depends on that conversation, not a set package.

Most treatments happen the same day, right there in the Burlington clinic. No anesthesia, no operating room, no waiting weeks for a surgical date. Many people are back in their car within the hour.

what to

expect —

Krista will walk you through what to expect for your specific treatment during your consultation.

In general, here's what most injectable patients experience:

Some redness, swelling, or bruising at the injection site. It usually clears in a few days.

Almost no downtime. Most people are back to their day immediately.

Results on different timelines: some are visible right away, others build over weeks.

A few restrictions afterward, mostly around exercise and sun, which Krista will flag if they apply to you.

A follow-up plan specific to what you had done, so you know what to expect and when.

People make the drive from Oakville, Milton, Hamilton, and beyond for the same level of care and personalized attention we bring to our surgical practice.

Cost depends on the treatment and the areas addressed. We provide exact pricing during your consultation, since every treatment plan is different.

How much do injectables cost in Burlington?

Most people call it a quick pinch, nothing more. Numbing cream is available if you'd rather not feel even that.

Does it hurt?

Most injectable treatments involve little to no downtime. You may notice mild redness, swelling, or bruising at the injection site for a few days, but most patients return to normal activities right away.

Is there any downtime?

It depends on what you had done. Neuromodulators run three to four months. Fillers last six months to a year and a half. Biostimulators like Radiesse build slowly, starting around four weeks in, and hold for a year to a year and a half. Krista will narrow that down once she knows your treatment plan.
